Mouse Count Felt Snake and Mice

My girls have been loving all the Ellen Walsh's books, especially Mouse Count. So, to help aid them in their recalling, I made them some story-props...a snake, 10 mice, and a rock! And, of course there's a collecting jar!

This little fella was made from one sock (my husband's) and felt for details.

I quickly sewed the 10 little mice together.

Hours of fun!

  5. Stopping by from the Sunday Showcase Linky Party!
Really like your idea for your Mouse Count extensions with the felt mice and snake! A group of my friends get together once a month to make fun felt items or other such crafts. There are several moms with little ones who will love this felt activity!
I also pinned your idea and listed your blog name on the pin to Pinterest.
