Tot School: Space!

This week, Mac has been doing space-related activities. Unfortunately, there wasn't any "shelf" work this week. This summer we converted our garage into our new school room; however, it's been cold here where we live and we haven't bought a heater for the garage, so it's FREEZING out there! And, Mac has been a little under the weather too.

Here is what we did get accomplish this week....

She made a letter "a" astronaut. Inspiration from Totally Tots.

She created a space rocket!

Practiced her pre-writing skills, which she loves doing!

Circle, circle, and more circles!

She looks like such a big girl sitting at the table with Izzie doing her "school work"! This tracing page came from Homeschool Creations Astronaut Preschool Pack. I had planned on her completing more activities from this pack; however, she was not feeling well for most of the week. We'll save it for next year!

Matching capital and lowercase letter "A" aliens to the correct planet. These came from Kids Soup.

She used dot markers (another favorite) to dot the letter "A"s. This handout is from Kids Soup.

Her favorite activity was playing with the space-theme window clings! Found these at Target on the dollar aisle.
We went on a fieldtrip to Martin's Grocery Store.

Mac loved tasting all the food at each section!

And, she attended at birthday cupcake decorating party!

  3. Great activities for a space week. My daughter likes to sit at the table and colour or do printables while her older siblings do school work too. I always think it is very cute.
