Storytime From A to Z: In The Nest

This particular week at Coop the Storytime From A to Z letter was "N" and the book was In The Nest.  I was so excited that our library had this book in their puppet section.  My girls love reading books with puppets!

 After reading the book and completing the phonics activity, they created a cute little torn paper nest with egg craft. 

 I found these egg frames at Target on clearance, after Easter, for only 50 cents!

When we arrived home, the girls were still excited about learning how birds build nests that they decided to build their own bird nest...

Storytime From A to Z: The Napping House

This particular week at Coop, the Storytime From A to Z letter was "N" and the book was The Napping House, which is a favorite book at our house!  My girls love this rhyming book that leads up to the consequences of piling too many sleepy people and animals in a cozy bed.
