Flash Back!

There are still a ton of activities from the fall that I haven't blogged about!  Anyway, as I was looking through my pictures this weekend, I found these from August and they made me get very teary!  I can't believe how young Izzie and Mac look in these pictures...it was only 6 months ago!  They look so much older, now.  Where does the time go?

Messy Class: Snow!

Let it snow, snow, snow!  We were expecting 10 inches of snow, but fell 7 inches short!  The girls were super excited to get outside to play, but we had coop for the day.  I promised they could play and play after coop (3:30pm)....however, I didn't expect for it to be in the low 50s for the day and all the snow gone before the end of coop!  Very. Disappointed. Girls.

To celebrate SNOW, my Preschool Messy Class created these adorable snowmen!

I had everything cut and ready to go for them.  I even drew the outline of the snowman.  With twelve preschoolers painting with shaving cream and Elmer's glue (equal parts mixed together)...I knew I needed it to be organized!

They had snow much fun "painting" the snowmen with spoons!

After dressing the snowmen, each was unique and so ADORABLE!!

Day Trip To Boxerwood...

The weather this weekend was amazing!  We had 70 degree weather, which is very usual in January in this part of the country!  So, we decided to take advantage of the warm weather and headed to a local nature center and woodland garden.

The girls had the best time exploring throughout the Play Trail.

Hard at work...raking leaves...

 Investigating the Willow Tree trail...

They were excited to find a hidden "hide-out" within the Willow Tree trail!

They spent the most time at the Mud Kitchen creating homemade mud pies and mud muffins!

No kidding, they played here for over an hour!!

Digging to China...

 Digging up bones!

 Exploring the different tunnels...

They really enjoyed playing in the huge birdhouse!

Taking a quick break before exploring the Meadow and Wetlands.

It was a perfect winter afternoon!
