To celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday, the girls and I headed to Michael's for a Dr. Seuss Make and Take, where they made a bookmark and a Cat In The Hat pencil holder!

Afterward, we headed to Chick-fil-A for a Dr. Seuss birthday party!

A Special Night...

Our local library hosts a puppet show, games, and crafts once a month. Last night was extra special for Dr. Seuss' birthday!

Storytime From A to Z: A House for Hermit Crab

I'm behind keeping up the posts for Storytime From A to Z, though, I'll be posting everything that we did in January and February, soon! So, here's to catching up!

One particular week (sometime in February) at Coop, the Storytime From A to Z letter was "H" and the book was A House for Hermit Crab.


The girls had fun water painting their Hermit Crab and decorating his shell with tissue paper, glitter beads, and stickers!

After seeing Izzie's finished Hermit at home, Mac insisted that she wanted to create one too! I helped her color, while she was busy using her fine motor skills with tissue paper!
