This year, I wanted to incorporate a "Weather Journal" during our morning calendar time. It's quick, simple, and to the point!
Placed inside a paper 3-ring folder.
I found these amazing FREE calendar templates, printed out all 12 months and placed in the folder. To the left is a clear zipper pocket full of weather options (sun, rain, snow, cloud), which can be found here. Each morning, as I'm watching the local news, Izzie patiently waits for "today's weather forecast". After calendar time, she places the day's weather prediction on her calendar.
Afterward, she graphs the weather, which is found in the folder directly following the current month's weather calendar. I found this weather graph template free on Teachers Pay Teachers, but it is no longer there. However, these graphs can be easily found on many blogs (simple Google search).
