Open Ended Art: Henri Matisse Collage

This week's theme for Open Ended Art is Henri Matisse, a French artist known for using extraordinarily bold colors. However, later in his career he began making collages, due to health issues.

I supplied Izzie with several geometric shapes and leaves. She created her Henri Matisse inspired collage.

To see more collages, dance over to Mommies Wise Little Bookworms.

  5. Her collage came out lovely! I did one where I provided all the shapes as well as one where I let him cut out his own shapes. I have to admit, when I provided the shapes, it came out much nicer ;)
